Cambodia-Thailand Bilateral Relations and Cooperation Lauded

Bilateral relations between Cambodia and Thailand will be stronger and stronger, especially the cooperation and exchanges in all fields, including the enhancement of national economy and people’s living standards.

The remarks were highlighted during a meeting here at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh this morning between Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Thai Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Cherdkiat Atthakor.

In the courtesy meeting, the Thai diplomat lauded the progress in the friendly relations and good cooperation between the two neighbouring Kingdoms and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthen this relationship.

H.E. Cherdkiat Atthakor thanked Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and the Royal Government of Cambodia for their warm welcome to the Thai Prime Minister during his official visit to Cambodia in September 2023, and looked forward to welcoming the official visit of the Cambodian Premier to Thailand in the near future.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked the Thai ambassador for his commitment to promote the cooperation between the two countries, and spoke highly of the growing cooperation in many potential areas, particularly trade, tourism and people-to-people ties.
