10th Cambodia Book Fair Begins

Phnom Penh, December 15, 2023 --

Cambodia kick-started its national book fair 2023 on Dec. 14 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, at the heart of Phnom Penh.

Addressing the official opening of the 10th Cambodia Book Fair, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron emphasised that reading is the foundation of learning that must be cultivated from a young age.

He thanked the working group of the Cambodia Book Fair organising committee, students, writers, publishers, national and international organisations, and all sponsors that dedicate their time and energy to supporting the fair, which gets more popular from year to year.

Themed “Master in Writing, Grow in Reading, Rise in Knowledge,” the four-day book fair features around 300 booths with tens of thousands of reading materials.
