Cambodia Attends 45th ASEAN Ministers On Agriculture And Forestry Meeting

A Cambodian delegation led by H.E. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, joined the opening ceremony of the 45th ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Meeting and Related Meetings on Oct. 4 in Malaysia.

In the meeting, participating ASEAN ministers examined and agreed on a report on the progress of the implementation of the policy framework on food, agriculture, and ASEAN forestry cooperation.

They also reviewed the collaboration in various sectors with dialogue partners, international organisations, and concerned institutions.

The meeting approved a strategic guideline and technical documents and issued a joint statement with a renewed commitment to foster partnerships to achieve sustainable food security, agriculture, and forestry in the region.
