Phnom Penh, August 30, 2023 --

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has urged the public to be vigilant of possible accidents due to successive rainfall in the next few days.

According to the ministry’s latest weather forecast released this morning, there would be continuous rainfall, from moderate to heavy, along with thunder, lightning and gusts, at the coastal areas, from Sept. 1 to 4.

The public, particularly seafarers, are also advised to be careful of strong wind and high waves.

For the temperature, during the period from Aug. 28 to Sept. 3, it would vary between 23 to 34 degrees Celsius for central lowland areas, from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius for highland areas, and between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius for coastal regions, said MOWRAM in its announcement issued early this week.
