New Weather Forecast: More Rain, Lightning and Gusts Expected This Week

Phnom Penh, July 25, 2023 --

More rains, accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusts, are expected across the country from July 26 to Aug. 1, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) said in an announcement on new weather forecast released this morning.

For the temperature, during the said period, it would vary between 23 and 34 degrees Celsius for the central lowland areas, and from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius for the highland areas, said the same source.

In the coastal regions, MOWRAM pointed out, the temperature would be between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius.

The ministry thus called on the public to increase their vigilance of possible natural phenomena, in particular strong winds and high waves in coastal areas.
