Kandal, March 12, 2024: Prime Minister Hun Manet announced his deep delight at the tremendous progress of the Techo International Airport project, which is praised as the biggest airport in Cambodia and a source of national pride.

During the morning of March 12, 2024, PM expressed his excitement during an inspection ceremony for the first phase of the building of Techo International Airport.

PM summed up the event by saying, "We could feel the excitement building as we drove from the ring road into the city and got closer to the location. Though not yet complete, the excitement is comparable to that on the eve of the opening of Angkor International Airport."

As of February 21, 2024, Mr. Mao Havnall revealed that the 4F construction of Techo International Airport had reached roughly 66.1% of its initial phase of completion. Of the estimated $1.5 billion in total investment, $961 million had been spent on infrastructure development.

According to the plan, Techo International Airport's first phase, designated 4F, is scheduled to open in the first half of 2025, according to the Secretary of State for Civil Aviation.
