Cambodian Fencing Athletes to Attend SEAFF Championship 2024 in Malaysia

Phnom Penh, January 04, 2024 --

Sixteen (16) Cambodian sports athletes, coaches, arbitrators, and athletes will attend the Southeast Asia Fencing Federation (SEAFF) Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from Jan. 6 to 11, 2024.

The update was shared by the Fencing Federation of Cambodia (FFC), adding that the sports delegation will be led by Mr. Hu Chienhai, FFC Deputy President.

The SEAFF Championship 2024 will be a good opportunity for Cambodian athletes to gain experience and improve their capacity for international sports events, especially the 33rd SEA Games 2025 in Thailand, said Mr. Hu Cheanhai.

The FFC deputy president was positive that the Cambodian team would excel in the tournament and grab medals for the nation.

Cambodian coaches have been allowed by the host Malaysia, to be arbitrators during the event to upgrade themselves for the B-level licence exam.
