Vietnam's economy to grow 4.7% in 2023

Vietnam's economy will grow by 4.7 percent in 2023 and 5 percent by 2024, according to the latest economic statistics report for Southeast Asia by the Chartered Accountants Institute in the UK and Wales and Oxford Economics. According to a release by Xinhua.

The VietnamNet online newspaper reports that the medium-term outlook for the country's economy is forecast, but overall growth will remain below the pre-epidemic trend of 7%.

The country has emerged as a major winner in the overhaul of the global supply chain, and global exports of goods should increase further in the medium term. Vietnam has set a growth target of 6–6.5 percent by 2024.
