Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet Elected Vice President of Ruling Party

Phnom Penh, December 10, 2023 --

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet was elected Vice President of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP), bringing the total CPP Vice President to 5.

The election was held at the 44th Central Committee Conference of 5th mandate, at the party's headquarters in Phnom Penh this morning under the chairmanship of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, CPP President, and Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, CPP Honorary President.

In addition, the meeting also voted for 23 more members of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee.

With the the newly-elected members, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee has now 58 members.

The 44th Central Committee Conference took place during the CPP Extraordinary Congress on Dec. 9-10.
