MoI Vows to Continue Close Partnership with Wildlife Alliance

Phnom Penh, December 07, 2023 --

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has vowed to continue its intimate partnership with the Wildlife Alliance for the next 30 years.

The remark was made during a meeting between Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sar Sokha and Ms. Suwanna Gauntlett, Chief Executive Officer of the Wildlife Alliance, at the ministry’s office in Phnom Penh on Dec. 5.

Ms. Suwanna Gauntlett, on behalf of the Wildlife Alliance, is deeply committed to working closely with the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Wildlife Alliance also informed the Deputy Prime Minister about the achievements of the organisation in Cambodia.

H.E. Sar Sokha thanked the organisation for its efforts to date in working with the Royal Government of Cambodia on forest protection, biodiversity conservation, wildlife rescue, and support for local communities.
