Minister Of Information Presides Over The Dissemination Of The Results Of The 16th Ministerial Conference

Sharing information on the developments and the outcomes of a meeting overseas attended by the Ministry’s officials has helped the different departments of the Ministry to set their work activities in alignment with those carried out in other ASEAN member countries.

H.E Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information, mentioned this at a meeting held on Wednesday October 25 to keep senior officials and personnel of the Ministry with informed of the outcome of the 16th conference of ASEAN Ministers responsible for Information and Related Meetings held in Da Nang, Vietnam, from September 21st to 23rd, 2023.

H.E Neth Pheaktra said that he did not want to see that what had been decided and reached at any meeting overseas rest with only the participating officials.

The Minister said that all that have been agreed and concluded at the meeting have had to be widely shared with senior and relevant officials of the Ministry of Information.

The Information Minister added that the dissemination of the outcome was very important for officials to be aware and jointly implement what has been reached by participants from other countries so it would be well in accordance with the action plan of the Ministry of Information.
