CDC, Indian Ambassador Explore Trade and Investment Cooperation Opportunities

The Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chair of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has received the newly appointed Indian Ambassador to Cambodia to explore bilateral trade and investment opportunities.
Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Sun Chanthol met with the Indian diplomat H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung at CDC headquarters in Phnom Penh on Mar. 26.
H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung deeply appreciated the long-standing diplomatic relations between Cambodia and India, expressing his interest and commitment to elevate the cooperation to a new height.
Highly valuing the insight, H.E. Sun Chanthol encouraged the Indian Ambassador to enhance the collaboration on information and digital technology, electronics, and food processing.
The Deputy Prime Minister firmly believed that during H.E. Vanlalvawna Bawitlung’s tenure in Cambodia, the cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened and expanded.
The two also discussed the possibility for Cambodia to organise an investment roadshow in India in the near future.
