AFF Women's Cup 2024: Cambodia to Meet Indonesia in the Final on Dec. 5

The Cambodian women's national football team will meet with the Indonesian team in the final of the ASEAN Women’s Cup 2024 (AFF Women's Cup 2024) to be held on Dec. 5, at 7:30 pm, at the New Laos National Stadium in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
Cambodia’s advancement to the final was made after defeating Timor-Leste 3:0 in a semi-final match on Dec. 2. The three goals were scored by Soeun Vipha in the 36th minute from a penalty kick, while the other two goals were added by Poeurn Kunthea in the 74th and 90th minutes.
Last night, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet extended his congratulations to the Cambodian women's national football team for advancing to the final for the first time in history.
Earlier on Dec. 5, the Timor-Leste women's team will compete for the third place against Singapore women’s team.
The AFF Women’s Cup 2024 took place in Laos from Nov. 23 to Dec. 5 with the participation of national teams from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Timor-Leste.
Cambodian team was in Group B alongside Malaysia and Indonesia. They emerged as winner in Group B after beating the Malaysian team 2-0 and drew 0-0 with Indonesian team.
