Cambodian Bodybuilder Wins Bronze Medal at Maldives
Phnom Penh, November 12, 2024 —
Cambodian bodybuilder Mr. Khou Kheanghuy won a bronze medal in the Men’s Sports Physique over 180cm + 4Kg at the 15th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2024 in Addu City, Maldives.
Mr. Tek Bunvy, President of the Cambodian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (CBFF), shared the good news via email on Nov. 10.
According to Cambodian bodybuilding coach Ms. Amy S. Ham, Mr. Khou Kheanghuy earned a bronze medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in South Korea and a gold medal at the 56th Asian Bodybuilding and Physics Sports Championships 2024 in Indonesia, where athletes from over 50 countries attended.
She added that Mr. Khou Kheanghuy continued to maintain his medal at the 15th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2024, though it was attended by more countries than the championships in Indonesia.
A delegation of three, including Mr. Tek Bunvy who was the leader and an international judge, coach Ms. Amy S. Ham, and bodybuilder Mr. Khou Kheanghuy, attended the 15th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2024 from Nov. 5 to 11.
