Phnom Penh, August 01, 2023 --
Some 2,643,000 national and international tourists visited the Angkor Archeological Park in Siem Reap province in the first seven months of this year.
The figure was shared this morning by Mr. Seng Sotheara, Director of Tourism Development and Culture Department at the APSARA National Authority.
Of the number, 2,203,696 were national visitors and 439,365 were foreign tourists, he pointed out, adding that in 2022, only 83,854 international visitors were registered at the Angkor Archeological Park.
Mr. Seng Sotheara was optimistic that the number of tourists will keep rising, especially after the official launch of the Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport in mid-October.

Over US$107,000 were donated to Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation in July to support the humanitarian operations of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospitals.
