Japanese Foreign Minister To Pay An Official Visit To Cambodia This Week

Phnom Penh, July 01, 2024 --

H.E. Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit Cambodia this week, on July 5-6, at the invitation of H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued this morning, during her two-day official visit in Cambodia, H.E. Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko will pay separate courtesy calls on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The Japanese foreign minister is also scheduled to hold bilateral meeting with H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, the source added.

“The visit by H.E. Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko will keep the momentum of frequent high-level exchanges and further deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Cambodia and Japan,” concluded the press release.
